The dove hunting at Rancho Cristobal is second to none and is our flagship program. With our diverse shooting locations and a variety of packages we can offer the perfect trip for anyone. Our most popular program is a 5-night stay; however, we can accommodate both longer and shorter durations.
Most of our hunting is done on the “dove highways” providing the most exciting and fun type of shooting while also protecting the roosts ensuring care is taken to preserve this special resource. All hunting grounds are within an hour of the lodge, with some as close as 20 minutes.
Depending on our landowner’s crop rotation schedules, seasonal harvest area hunts will be offered in addition to the regular rotation hunts. Rancho Cristobal has access to multiple types of agricultural fields increasing the options for diverse hunts.
Multiple hunting locations means more flexibility for you and your group. Shoot at your own pace, with the freedom to return to the lodge whenever you choose, while others in your group can continue their shooting experience uninterrupted.
You will be accompanied by our experienced guides on every outing, making your hunt as enjoyable as possible.
About the Lodge
While you are here for the hunting, we invite you to indulge in our exceptional amenities during your stay at our new 18,000 sq ft, lodge.
Located in Santa Fe, Argentina guests typically fly into Buenos Aires. From here our staff will pick you up and transfer you to the lodge.
You will enjoy delicious Argentinian cuisine using locally grown ingredients – some from our very own garden prepared by our master chef.
After your hunt relax with a dip in the pool or a cocktail and cigar at the bar. Other amenities include a fitness room, treatment room, and more.

Dove Hunting FAQs
The best time is when you are available. Dove hunting is year-round, but you may want to consider weather and other hunting availabilities when choosing a time.
This can depend on a variety of factors such as weather conditions and individual’s shooting ability – but 1,000 a day or more is realistic.
We will make sure that all necessary permits and licenses are organized before you arrive.
Make sure to bring hunting clothes, eye and ear protection, comfortable hiking boots, a recoil pad, gloves, and a hat. Also any personal clothing and items you may need.
No experience needed! This hunt is a perfect way to learn or improve your shooting and will also challenge any experienced shooter.
