James Jenkinson

Owner & Manager

James is originally from rural New Zealand, growing up on sheep, cattle and cropping farms in the lower North Island. James has been shooting his whole life, initially with ducks, pheasant, rabbits and red stag but in the last 20 years been wing shooting across Mexico, the US, Europe and most importantly Argentina.

The attraction to high-volume dove and pigeon shooting was instant and has been coming back to Argentina several times per year to re-live the experience.

James brings a huge amount of experience both as a client of dove shooting lodges but also the hospitality business and what it takes to satisfy discerning clients James is also extremely passionate about cuisine, working in restaurants from a young age, so brings a wealth of experience in cooking modern but classic food.

Ricardo Fossatti


icardo is our chief scout and has lived in the San Cristobal area his whole life. Ricardo knows the dove patterns, crop rotations, crop harvesting times and most importantly the landowners who provide the best hunting fields.

Ricardo has been scouting dove in the area since he was a young boy but is also an accomplished big game scout both in Santa Fe and Patagonia Ricardo brings the same hard-working attitude to high-volume dove shooting to Rancho Cristobal and will work tirelessly to provide the most fun and productive fun shoots to every group.

Mauricio Fossatti

Lead Bird Boy
Mauricio has been hunting his whole life in Argentina and in particular in and around San Cristobal. Mauricio leads our team of bird boys and provides support to our hunters while they are in the field. Mauricio loves to hunt and when he is not scouting for birds he is hunting for big game. He is also an accomplished Asado cook!

Mauricio Rodriguez

Head Chief

Mauricio has spent his entire working life as a chef and is also an owner of a successful catering business. He brings a huge amount of experience, where we are trying to create modern Argentine cuisine sourced entirely from the surrounding area.

James and Mauricio have been working for some time on developing an outstanding menu for our guests and will not disappoint. In his spare time, Mauricio can be spotted around town playing gigs on the guitar!

Agustina Werro

Operations Coordinator

Agustina provides operational and administrational support and is a professional translator. Agustina also support meeting all our licensing and governmental requirements.
